Ghana’s activist, Yvette Tetteh is swimming the nearly 500-kilometer-long Volta River, including Lake Volta, in the south of the country to bring attention to worsening water pollution.
The activist is being accompanied by researchers from the Or Foundation, which is supporting her swim and advocates against textile waste.
