GBC Weekly Update 1

In addition to Yvette Tetteh swimming 450km of the Volta River, collecting + processing water and air samples to track the flow of microfibre pollution in our waterways, and engaging communities along the way, sharing and learning about what [the] water means to us, another goal of ours is to extend an invitation to as many people, near and far, to join us in collectively imagining and creating a seemingly impossible future — one that is free of decades of Waste Colonialism and centuries of an extractive and exploitable global trade.

It’s for this reason that we’ve partnered with GBC (via GTV) to share widely, as many details of our month-long exploration of the Volta River System. Here’s the first update we’ve shared that’s been broadcast nationwide.
